Abraham DeGalicia was a loving father, husband and son.   Abe and his wife Melody had known each other for 23 years and were married for over 20 years.  A father of two boys, he loved camping, mountain biking, hiking and going to the movies with his family.

 

His second true love was his passion for cars which started in his high school years.  He worked in the car industry for over 15 years, owned several cars and even wrecked a few...A prankster and jokester at heart, Abe always had a way of making those around him smile and laugh uncontrollably.   

 

Out of nowhere, Abe was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer in April.  Abe underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy, but unfortunately lost his battle with cancer on August 2, 2015.  Get Up 8 had reached out to support Abe during his fight, and will continue to support his memory and family.  More now than ever does the DeGalicia family need the love and support of the community.
